On air rant by Iowa TV sports reporter covering weather goes viral
Pressed into duty to cover the blizzard, sports reporter and anchor Mark Woodley of Waterloo’s KWWL-TV made no secret of how he felt about the assignment: “Tune in for the next couple hours to watch me get progressively crankier and crankier.”
And that’s probably not even the best line in the collection of outtakes Woodley tweeted, as he complained on air about being told to “go stand in the snow and the cold and tell other people not to do the same.”
“The good news is that I can still feel my face right now,” he quipped at one point in his now-viral rant. “The bad news is that I kind of wish I couldn’t.”
