House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said former President Donald Trump’s candidacy for president again in 2024 would be “bad news” for the United States.

Pelosi’s comment on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos came Sunday when host Pelosi asked if Trump’s decision to run again would be “good news” for Democrats.

“I think it’s bad news for the country, let’s put it this way,” she said. “Because this is someone who has undermined the integrity of our elections, who has not respected the oath of office, who has encouraged people, strange kind of people to run for office, who do not share the values ​​of our democracy. Pelosi added that she believes Trump “was not a force for good, so I don’t think his nomination is a force for good for our country.”
