Brazilian soccer player Richarlison scored a stunning bicycle kick goal on Thursday during his national team’s first match at this year’s World Cup in Doha.
After receiving a low cross from Vinicius Jr., Richarlison de Andrade – better known as Richarlison – deflected the ball in the air with his left foot and twisted it to launch a side scissor kick with his right, firing the ball past Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinković-Savic and into the net.
With the goal of the 73rd minute, Brazil raised the balance against Serbia 2-0.

Brazil’s first goal of the day was also scored by 25-year-old Richarlison.
The Tottenham Hotspur forward sent the end home from close range in the 62nd minute after Vinicius Jr.’s shot was parried by Milinkovic-Savic as Brazil finally broke through a tough Serbia defence.
“It was his childhood dream come true,” Richarlison told Brazilian broadcaster TV Globo, according to Agence France-Presse. The striker said he cried four weeks ago amid fears he would miss the World Cup with a calf injury.
Brazilian soccer star Fernandinho later tweeted a video of Richarlison performing a backflip on a trampoline. “Pigeons have been practicing this goal for some time at home,” Fernandinho wrote, calling Richarlison by his nickname.
